Hi, I'm Dozer. I used to be the frontman for a Christian rock band.
Having walked away from religion, Anchor the Breach is my current, music project. I write songs about love, life, philosophy, and my religious deconstruction. I've also re-released some of the music from my old band, to which I own writer's, publishing, and performance rights, exclusively.
I created Anchor the Breach to share my own experiences in song, in the hopes that it may help others that may be going through the same things I did.

All of Anchor the Breach's compositions are my original works. I wrote the lyrics and music, performed them in my studio, and then used FL Studio alongside AI tools to modify my music.
On this project, I used AI tools specifically to modify instrumentation, change vocal ranges, and insert effects. I have also modified my voice (though the screaming still sounds like me), in an effort to make the music more publically accessible, and less about me. Anyone who wishes to cover any of my songs may do so, royalty free. Just credit Dozer and Anchor the Breach.

Though I'm Native American (I'm a Cherokee tribal citizen), I was raised far from my tribe, as a Christian fundamentalist. I am alive because of the tenacity of my ancestors, their courage on the Trail of Tears, and the way they held tight to their beliefs, despite the attempt to erase our identity.
Today, I do my best to practice Duyvktv ("the right way"). I do not judge others for their beliefs, as long as they do the same, and I do my best to be accepting of all others, and to live in harmony with the earth, and with my fellow man.
If you'd like to talk about it, drop me a line below.
You can find me on most music platforms, distributed through distrokid.
